Science and Engineering Challenge Discovery Day - Stage 3

Time: Students must arrive at school by 8:00am and will return at approximately 4:00pm. 

A hands-on STEM event presented by the University of Newcastle, this exciting opportunity allows students to explore science and engineering through interactive challenges in a team environment.

Students will work in teams to solve real-world challenges across activities such as bridge building, turbine design, code communication using light, and model glider launching. These challenges are designed to encourage creative thinking, teamwork, and an interest in science and engineering careers.

What to Bring and Wear:

• Pen only (all other materials are supplied)

• School uniform with enclosed shoes for safety

• Students will be provided with a free lunch
