Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

The Bingara Central School P&C plays an important role in supporting our students, staff and wider school community throughout the year. We work together to provide valuable services, raise funds for school projects, and create opportunities for families to connect and be involved in school life.

Each year, our P&C coordinates several key events:

May – Mother’s Day Stall
Students can purchase small, thoughtful gifts to celebrate the important women in their lives.
August – Trivia Night
A fun community evening where families and locals come together for a night of laughter, friendly competition, and fundraising.
September – Father’s Day Stall
Students have the chance to choose a gift for the special men in their lives.
December – Mango Drive
Our popular end-of-year fundraiser supplying fresh, delicious mangoes just in time for summer.

We also run a number of smaller fundraisers throughout the year, so keep an eye on our socials for these fun money-raising events and opportunities to get involved.

In addition to these events, the P&C is committed to supporting the school in many ways. We operate the school canteen five days a week during term time, fundraise for school events, excursions and learning resources, and provide an inclusive environment where parents and carers can communicate, share ideas, and actively support Bingara Central School.

Our P&C meetings are held twice each term, in Week 2 and Week 7.
All parents and carers are warmly invited to attend. Whether you’d like to contribute ideas, volunteer, or simply stay informed, your involvement is valued and appreciated.
